In the start the foreigners didn't wanted to do anything with the Metkaiyna. The foreigners offered roads, ships, money and other things they regarded civilization.

The foreigners understood many things about the Metkaiyna.

Things escalated when the foreigners captured a group of Tukuns and sacrificed a big one to their God of High Seas "Dar'al".

They loathed the reef Navi.
They prayed for them in their alters.

Many Reef tribes decided to declare war on these foreigners. The argument they killed Tulkun. The foreigners had an argument. They believed a sacrifice to the Dar'al The God of high seas would provide their Naval campaign enormous success.

The reef navi protested against these menace Jake Sully decided these people are highly sophisticated. Some young boys took up arms with a certain Tulkun called Pykon. This changed quite exponentially. The young were quite confident on their "expedition". The foreigners responded with their gunboats and declared "more sacrifice will go to the Dar'al".

The gunboats were not like the ones used by the RDA these boats bombarded heavily the rebel Tulkuns and butchered them into pieces. The boys were crucified on a floating vessel made up of Tulkun bodies stitched together.
The vessels were commanded by a minor captain not even the campaign's commander.

The news reached Jake Sully and other leaders of reefs. This horrified them. For once they saw a navi that's believe in violence on its own kind.

The captain points at the being so the hunt beings. The captain explains "The being has to be always been given to the seas else the deity will reject it ".

With a next daybreak the gunboats and a galleon set to hunt the identified Tukun matriarch. The Tukun is captured alive. It's a matriarch, as by specified by its appearance. The new conscripts rejoice, the injuries one cry with happiness They have made it. The Captain goes in with the scholars who tell him that day after the tomorrow is the point when the day is chosen by Dar'al.

The Captain than points "We have no man of royal blood." The priest point out the sacrifice has to be done by the leader of the naval vessels so it's not the General but the campaign's commander.

The Commander visits the General and tells him He feels nervous of this whole sacrifice thing. The General tells him the age doesn't matter neither his rank in the hierarchy but his position as the leader of the naval core. He has to do. He is not taking the place of General. This is no home where only the oldest man alive has to perform the sacrifice. The commander after many talks with the General pulling an all-nighter gets convinced by the General. The day arrives the captains congratulate the commander. The conscripts converse how the event is very big thing. The command's priest gives the commander a ceremonial blade to end the suffering of the beast.

The commander sees the General who smiles at him points a thumb as an okay signal.

The commander thrusts the blade inside the head of the beast. The beast's suffering is ended after the commander orders the beast to be bombarded by gun boats. The next stage of the sacrifice is to chop the beast and sunk it deep down into the ocean bed for the god to receive the sacrifice.

The process takes around 7 hrs from early morning dark break to the late afternoon. The people congratulate each other The General pats the back of the Commander to provide Dar'al with sacrifice.

The news of the death reaches to the Metikaiyna. The reef Navi respond by declaring war. Jake stops them. He sees what they don't. He explains these are no ordinary men. Everyone agrees but this certain group of kids doesn't. The group of kids, young adults pair with some young tukun bulls and swim towards the

The Metkaiyna saw this all., they were horrified. On Jake's advice Tonowari agreed to send an expedition to meet these foreigners. The expedition landed on the Soum archipelago after a week's journey. The soldiers saw the men riding their fishes from afar They ran a bell. The sound of the bell gathered all the squads on the archipelago. Jake spoke loudly "We come in peace!! " He made some signs using his arms. To Jake's surprise the men sat their left knee pointing their muskets on Jake's Metkaiyna squad.

A man pushed the men in formations and asked them in an unintelligible tongue "What is happening How is this bare-clothed man". HIs appearance made it clear he was a high ranking man since no soldier dared looked him directly eye to eye.

The man spoke in an unintelligible tongue. He knew it. Everyone knew it. Jake understood the man's motives by his expressions. Jake was under pressure he couldn't fight these men who had muskets, had boats with guns.

A man came from behind the soldiers every foreigner noticed the man. He was no bully but was carefare unlike the earlier man who came. Every man chanted some sort of greeting to this carefree fellow. The man came with a bottle drinking something from it.

The man was a commander. The commander ordered the men to lower their muskets.

Everyone laughed at the Commander's word.

The commnder reminded the men in a cynical manner how his blade can decide if they wanna de seditious to him. The offers ordered their men to fall back. The man greeted Jake and asked him come forward. He changed his tongue to Navi. The man introduced himself as the commander of these very men. He told Jake that his men can't speak Navi.

The officers instructed their men not to move their guns away from the Metkaiyna squad.

A man brought a chair for the Commander to sit on The Commander asked the man to bring one for Jake also. The man soon returned with a chair for Jake. The commander asked Jake who is he and from where he comes from. The commander interrupted Jake and he said "I asked who are you Navi don't have four fingers. You nose and ears are also on wrong positions. So I ask again Who are you I know these men are from the reefs So please give me my answers". The officers looked jolly hearing the words of the Commander while the soldiers could only assume what was being spoken in the classical tongue.

Jake felt himself vulnerable and burned by the insurance of the men he brought with himself. Jake decides to be true believing in Evya. He told the commander who he was. The Commander decided to believe Jake. The officers standing around hearing Jake's words called him in lunatic. Jake could understand the words of these men. He concluded these men switched between the standard Navi language and some internal language that they use to converse with the common soldiers.

The commander told Jake to return he will deliver his word to the General who will decide. Jake senses that he talked to the only sane man on the archipelago. He decides to return with a mere promise. He prayed to Evya for this promise to come true.

Later the night the commander meet the General. The General called the meeting of every officer rank in his place. The General using the intel on by men decided to send an emissary.

The commander had asked earlier Jake to name a small animal he liked around the reef. Jake named an otter. The Commander agreed it was fine looking.

Around the daybreak an Otter came to Jake. Many Metkaiyna tried to catch it but it only stopped at Jake's leg and claimed his way all the way towards his shoulder. It sat there. A young man pointed to Jake the otter has something tied to around it's waist. Jake looked at it's waist and he had a some sort of pouch tied to it. Jake opened the pouch. The pouch had inside it a piece of cloth with intricate scenery made Jake clear that the foreigners are coming. The cloth detailed some men gathered in a cave lit with devices of Evya.

Jake announced to the Metkainyna the foreigners are coming, so they should follow the cloth. A man came to Jake some days later he told Jake what he thought Jake was assuming was true. He told General has made the word no officer can defy his. What all the queries they have against them They can ask it in the cave. It's upto Jake that his men don't do something foolish.

The man returned. He rowed his boat and then vanished into the mist of the ocean away from horizon.

The Metkaiyna saw a group of men arriving. A young man reported this to Jake. Jake organized everyone in the cave. A group of 10 men and a fragile looking man came up to the situated on the hill. The armored men gathered around the entrance of the mouth of the cave 2 on the inside 2 on outside. Other men gathered around the grave. The frail young man who introduced as an emissary saluted Tonowari who sat on an elevated platform on the inside of the cave. A man came from behind and told the young man he's not the King.

The man proceeded to introduce certain things to Tonowari. To converse with the chieftain the emissary spoke in standard Navi language. The emissary introduced three gifts a calendar, an epic book of 2000 pages, a realistic painting called "first pilgrims".

In the end the emissary again reached for his sack he took out a plant which was in a pot. He explained to the chieftain that this was Evya in a pot that the travelers use on their journey. He made a statement by connecting his kuru to the plant.

The Tsahìk objected to their identity the emissary challenged her to falsify their claims. The Tsahìk in a confident pose tried by she to her the men was that they called themselves to be. Ronal as a Tsahìk was never humiliated never so big. "These are So'um the pre declared dead heretic tribe of Northern lands" She declared. Everyone leaned towards these men confused a tribe written in the times of the first songs as dead stood tall standing against their very eyes.

The men returned to their boat and were lost in the mist of the wide horizon. The reef tribe now lay in confusion
